Because one meal can remind someone they matter. Jueves Con Causa exists to bring food, compassion, and dignity to people who need it most.
Who We Are
A community showing up, one Thursday at a time.
Jueves Con Causa was started by a small group of neighbors in El Paso, TX who saw a simple need: a warm meal, a kind word, and a moment of dignity for people experiencing homelessness in our city.
Every Thursday, our volunteers cook, pack, and hand-deliver meals — along with drinks, hygiene supplies, and conversation — to community members living on the streets. We serve consistently, so the people we visit know we'll be back next week.
We are 100% volunteer-powered and community-funded. Every dollar and every hour goes directly toward feeding our neighbors.

Your first Thursday
Step 1
Arrive
Meet the team at the serving location. We'll show you the setup and pair you with a role.
Step 2
Prep
Help pack supplies, plate meals, or organize drinks. There's a job for every set of hands.
Step 3
Serve
Hand out meals, share a smile, and connect with neighbors. That's the heart of the night.
Step 4
Wrap up
Clean up together, laugh about the evening, and leave knowing you made a real difference.
Volunteer
